L’extension Lords of the Night, sortie le 26 septembre 2007, met de l’avant les clans Indépendants — Assamite D, Followers of Set K, Giovanni O et Ravnos 2. Contrairement aux vampires affiliés aux sectes majeures (Sabbat, Camarilla), les « lords of the night » choisissent leur propre destinée, libres de toutes allégeances, et se tiennent à l’écart des intrigues du monde vampirique traditionnel. Le set prolonge le soutien thématique initié dans plusieurs précédentes extensions, mais propose pour la première fois des decks préconstruits pour chaque clan indépendant, tout en célébrant leur autonomie, leur rivalité, et la richesse de leurs traditions occultes.
